Fram Exploration’s personnel are recognized experts in their individual fields; geology, geophysics, formation evaluation, reservoir engineering and drilling and completion. Their expertise has been gained through working in many of the world’s most demanding oil and gas environments to optimize recovery from undervalued and under-evaluated reservoirs.
We recognize that a successful exploration, development, and/or production campaign hinges on detailed planning. A major factor identified by the Company in the process is construction of a detailed and robust digital geological model. This model is used as the foundation not only for fully evaluating the prospect from a reservoir perspective but also, ultimately, the economics of the play. Once this evaluation is complete, the Company then applies optimal technology to drill, complete and produce the recoverable hydrocarbons.
To aid in the construction of the model, a 5-phase process has been developed to gather and analyze all relevant data for a prospect, and to produce a dynamic database with key performance metrics. Information from the database is then used to construct a comprehensive 3D geological model, which is then converted to a digital geo-model.
