Drilling and Completion

Eberly drill site

The successful drilling and completion of a well is where all the evaluation work done to date culminates. It is where the geological model is incorporated into an operational plan and implemented in real world situations.  Using the model, optimal well designs, directions, and locations can be positioned to maximize production rates. Exploration and development wells are designed and drilled using the latest advanced technology appropriate to the field conditions.

For example, high-angle, long-reach wells using geo-steering and directional drilling techniques are sometimes employed to access multiple objectives from a single drill site.  Fram engineers have extensive experience in completing and producing these highly sophisticated wells and using them to produce the maximum recoveries possible over the economic life of the field. The drilling and completion phase is not proprietary to Fram but the expertise of its engineers and geoscientists allow the Company to employ the very latest equipment and techniques in pursuing its goal of generating the highest economic returns in the industry.
